This has been a crazy week.

I typically stay pretty busy. When you love what you do, it’s hard to say no to awesome opportunities. Between helping throw and decorate a Newsboys #1 party, styling the set for an EPK for Sony artist Joanna Smith with director-extraordinaire Jeff Venable, and all the other things that a typical week brings, I usually would be thrilled for a relaxing weekend.

BUT this weekend I get to work with 2 of my favorite people. On Saturday AND Sunday I get to style artist photo shoots for photographer Brooke Boling. Brooke has been such a wonderful part of my world here in Nashville. Not only is she a Seattle-to-Nashville implant like me, she is so phenomenally talented, has been such an inspiration in my career and a wonderful friend. Today, I have been reminiscing over Brooke’s photos; especially one of the first styling photo shoots that I was lucky enough to be apart of. It was one of my first glimpses into what goes into styling a wedding and it truly made me fall in love with the process.

Part 2 of this weekends suspense comes from getting to style an country artist photo shoot for my amazing friend Shelby Baker. We have been working on wardrobe styling, location, backgrounds for almost a month and it is finally here! I can not wait to see it all come together this weekend.
